Purvankara CSR Sponsors Covid Testing Kits through sdmc Trust

Purvankara Group is a reputed Real Estate firm based out of Bangalore who was kind enough to sponsor 50 MyLab Covid Testing Kits (Approximately 60 lakhs) for Karnataka Government through sdmc Trust. Through these testing kits government would be able to do 5000 patient tests in Karnataka state. These tests will be administered free of cost for anyone and everyone.

In an interview with economic times, the Puravankara Group said, “The COVID-19 pandemic is impacting humanity like no other crisis in recent human history, the global impact of which will unfold in the months to come. With the uncertainty that looms over us, we at Puravankara, as a responsible corporate citizen, want to extend our support to the government, in their fantastic efforts in combating this deadly virus."

Karnataka Chief Minister Shri B.S.Yediyurappa himself handed-over the kits to the hospitals. He said that “We are seeing a sharp rise in Covid-19 positive cases in the last few days all over the state which had increased the requirement for the testing kits to ensure we effectively identify the infected population and isolate them at the earliest."

Purvankara Group have stepped in at this critical time and provided their support to procure these testing kits facilitated by SDMC Trust. This will ensure faster testing which will help accelerate the process and intervene to augment the Government’s efforts to flatten the curve.
